The original metal signs of “Mobilgas”, “Wayne “Honest Measure”, and “For Use as Motor Oil Only”, Contains Lead, Tetraethyl” are all firmly attached to the gas pump.
The engraving of “EBW” is visible on the top of the nozzle. The top circular light showing “MOBILGAS” beautifully lights up when plugged in.
Wayne Fueling Systems has been shaping the retail and fueling industry since their first pump was made in 1891. They were known as the Wayne Oil Tank Company, wining the distinction “The Best Self Measuring Oil Pump” at the Columbian Exposition in Chicago in 1893.
