This magnificent sterling silver match safe is from the Victorian era, Circa 1850. The stunning repoussé depicts two cherubs intimately looking to the right corner of the match safe surrounded by floral and leafy designs.
This beautiful match safe is in great working condition with some minor hairline scratches and a cover that closes tight. A hallmark initial of WMM is visible on the reverse.
It measures 70 mm x 40 mm x 10 mm and weighs 23.85 grams.
