Offered is a marvelous antique Blunt & Syms side hammer percussion pistol, with the following description:

Serial no. 25, .44 caliber. Heavy 3 inch octagonal rifled barrel, the top flat marked B&S/New York/Cast Steel and made without fore-end or provision for ramrod; underside of barrel with serial number and marked R-C at muzzle; brass front sight. Steel action. Varnished walnut grips.

Condition: Very good. Smooth grey metal showing sharp markings and scattered marks/light pitting. Grips with light marks.
