Antique 1800s. Qajar Ladies Persian Qalamdan Polychrome Lacquer Scribe Box

Offered is an exclusive antique Persian lacquer papier mache scribe box (qalamdan or ghalamdan), depicting on the cover, in vivid and rich colors, following the Qajar dynasty (1794-1925) style of miniature painting, two Qajar ladies nicely posing while their servant is watching along with musicians embellishing the contours of the magnificent polychrome scribe box.

This wonderful antique qalamdan scribe box belongs to the mid 19th century, in perfect antique shape and condition with the exception of some dislocations and chips due to its age.
