Antique 1700s Mogul Indian Empire Shah Jahan Bone Wooden Large Box

Offered is a magnificent antique 1700s large wooden Mogul (Moghul) Indian box belonging to the 18th century embellished with the finest bone work, all in brick shape, depicting magnificent artwork miniature featuring Shah Jahan and thirteen of his warriors on their horses going towards a battle ground. The attractive precise designs on the cover and each side of this antique Moghul Indian box is truly breathtaking. The interior is covered by a fine woodwork, with four rounded shape pad protecting the bottom of the antique box.

Shah Jahan (5 January 1592 – 22 January 1666) was the fifth Moghul Emperor of India from 1628 to 1658.
