This is a Henryk Winograd war plaque depicting in high relief and amazing detail the Battle of Gettysburg, Pickett’s Charge on July 3, 1863. The Battle of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania (July 1 – July 3, 1863), was the largest battle of the American Civil War as well as the largest battle ever fought in North America, involving around 85,000 men in the Union’s Army. Pickett’s Charge was the culmination of the Battle of Gettysburg.
This magnificent war plaque is .925 silver, in excellent condition, signed and copyrighted by Henryk Winograd, the master of silversmith and repoussé as “©1994 HW 925 H. Winograd”.
